my a470 will take1 picture and then cut off, why?

you can take one picture and all is fine, but when you hit the button for your second picture, the camera will shut down, you can turn it back on and take one more picture and when you try for the second one, it goes off again.

Weird. Can you reset the camera? There may be an option for Restore factory defaults in the menus. Try it; if there is something glitching this might fix it.

The problem was a faulty memory card, but we found it out by trying to change the settings, but would'nt change all the time, put a new card in an it works fine, sounds dumb, but it works, thanks Brenda P.
