Is there only one piece you have to buy to add on a lens, or do you have to buy the conversion piece also?

Im just wondering exactaly what pieces I need to add on a lens, does it need a conversion piece or is it just one thing I need?

Frankly, I advise againsts conversion lenses. The trade offs are just too great. You end up with losing 1-2 stops of light, there are clarity issues, and barreling problems at the extreme ends of the focal length. Not really worth it, in my view. And anything you can do with a conversion lens, you can do in software, except that with software, you have an UNDO button if you don't like how the picture comes out.
