My A540 is giving "lens error-restart camera" - can anyone tell me how to remove the lens assembly? Thanks!

I want to open my a540 to see if I can remove dirt/debris from its lens assembly that does not open or close normally anymore after it fell - it gives "lens error - restart camera" message and sometimes when it doesn't shows a blurry picture on the screen. I have already tried the seven fixes found eleswhere in a diy blog several times.

I would try going through these processes first:

As for opening the camera casing, you need to take out the small screws and wedge the camera open, though i really don't recommend doing this, good chance you'll damage your camera. Try the steps above on the website first, and tell us how it goes.
