Need Canon software to download. No icon on desktop

We are unable to download photos to computer from Canon A620. Software is installed - no icon on desktop

It may be that the software didn't install properly. It can happen. Try uninstalling, then reinstalling it. And I would download the software directly from CanonUSA.com. There may be an updated version online. While there, you can, and should, download and install any available firmware update. Remember that software and firmware are only as up to date as the day the camera was shipped. Getting the latest is always a good idea.

As for software problems, it's not uncommon. Your best bet is to get a USB memory card reader. It's much easier than trying to sort out crappy drivers and bloated sofware. A card reader is about $10-20 and will cause your sd card to be read as a drive on the PC. Then it's a simple drag and drop.

wheres picasso so ican down film ,start files , yep i got apower shot a620 canon and have been in Thailand for 14 months with seeing a compotor thanks
