You can record clips at 640 by 480 or 320 by 240 with this camera, also you have the option to record at 15 frames per second or 30 frames per second. Finally, there's a compact mode which records in 160 by 120, and a fast frame mode which records in 320 by 240, except at 60 frames per second for more fluid video. The maximum you can record in any setting is 4GB. In compact mode which takes the least amount of space, you can record up to 3 minutes, while in fast mode, which takes the most space, you can record for up to 1 minute. So on average expect times in between 1 and 3 minutes. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
