How can I show the date when taking pictures usings Cannon A70 camera?

I am trying to have the date inprinted on the picture when I take them, but I don't know how to do so. I checked the manual, but I couldn't find anything that tells me how. I don't know if this model is capable of doing so or not. Thanks,

The date stamp function remains the same as other Canon Models and is only available in Post card mode.

It involves two steps in the setting. Step one selects the postcard mode :
Function > Recording Pixels > Post card

Step two sets the date to on/off :
Record Menu > Date off/on.

Date stamp is set to off by default and there is no way to remove the date once it is stamped on the picture.
