no display on screen

it only displays black screen when i switched on the camera, even we cant view the existing images taken through view mode

It sounds like the screen is broken. It isnt something that you switched off or anything like that. I could be a simple connection issue inside the camera. I would recommend that you have it check out and serviced. If it is still under warranty you can get info on where to send it here at Canon Support
