flash won't work

My camera settings were changed and since then the flash wont' work.

Well, some of these cameras have a 'reset' menu item, have you tried that?

Sarah, as Richio said definitely do a Reset. Do you own the Canon A75? If so, then push and hold the Menu button on the camera and it will let you restore all defaults... this should put the settings back to normal.
