My brand new Canon A540 was dropped and the display screen is broken. Is it possible to fix the screen? everything else seems to work fine.

There appears to be a crack in the screen. Wouldn't want to spend more than $100 on repair. Will the camera ever be the same even if I did repair it? I'm a Realtor, so my camera is essential.
