Why does my A95 display screen show the image backwards?

My sister's Canon A95 lost color in her display screen a few months ago, and now she says the screen shows images backwards even though it would still take the actual picture properly. Is this just from be over-used? Is there any setting to fix this, or is a visit to the Canon dealer her only hope? Thanks.

Um... that's really weird. The only thing I can think of is that this camera does have the stitch feature for Panaramic photos, which is designed to take two photos and attach them at the center to make one long photo... but I can't even imagine a way that would malfunction to create this problem.
If all settings are where they should be (definitely try restoring settings to Factory default to make sure, there should be a menu option for this) then it really has to be a glitch in the LCD. Probably needs repairs.
