Camera repair

Rain water made my camera stop working slowly, How should I go about seeing if it can be repaired?

Do you have the A95? You can definitely call Canon and try to get an estimate thru their customer service repair people, but I will say that chances are repairs will cost as much/ more than the camera is worth, and you might want to look into a replacement at this point. Once cameras pass a certain age and if the problem is bad enough, they're not worth repairing unfortunately.

The Canon customer service number should be in your instruction book. Good luck.

The A95 was a very good 5mp with a 3x optical zoom range equivalent to a 38-114mm camera back in Aug of 2004 when released. The camera is discontinued at this time.

I am sorry to say but it is nearly impossible to get this type of camera worked on. The cost of labor and parts are greater than the cost of purchasing a new camera.

In this case a similar camera is now around $200.
