problem in my A95, i can vedio , but while capturing any photo, the photo become peculiar white lined shapped (b4 shootng the lcd dp shows clear view)

There occurs an problem in my a95, i can vedio with the camera very easily and clearly. But while capturing still pictures, the photo has the white lined shapped horizontally though before shooting the lcd display shows clear veiw. All the time the lcd display is clear, but the photo captured is not okay at all. what can i do?

Might be a problem with the memory. Have you tried changing memory cards?

Same problem here. The mechanic says, it is a problem with the shutter. And the shutter is damn costly.

Richio, i have some memory cards, i tired changing this before posting help here.

shutter problem? if so why the vedio is okay? vedio is also shoots trhough the shutter.

Know this post is old, but this may be of help to others who have this problem. This sounds like a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info.
