Not up to my expectations of Canon
( - 2/1/06)Having been an owner of several Canon film cameras from the A-1 to Sureshot, as well as having used the A60 and A40 Digital camera's, my G5 was a disappointment for several reasons. The flash shadow with wide angle shots, poor focusing ability and extremely slow reaction time to the shutter being pressed makes it a very limited use camera for my needs. I will be moving up to digital SLR's as they come much closer to what I want and the Canon Rebel XT is one at the top of my list.
