2 yrs and still love it.

(Lori - 12/7/06)

I like to wait before writing a review. Everything is wonderful when you first get it but long term is what really counts. I have had this camera for almost 2 1/2 yrs now. This camera is awesome. I wanted something to grow with since my first digital investment was a inexpensive point and shoot. I have taken amazing photos with this camera. There is so much to this camera that Im still learning on all the different features. Thats not a bad thing by any means. This is what I wanted, as I got better, I wanted to learn more and this camera is perfect for that. I also like how you can buy different lens, again being able to grow with it. I like the feel of it and it has metal parts unlike some of the plastic jobs out there. I thought the flip screen was kind of cheesy at first but it didnt take me long to love it, expecially trying to take vacation shots in crowded places like Disney World (Im short) so its great to hold the camera above my head and tilt the screen so I can see what Im shooting. I took some unbelievable night shots of the Vegas strip with no glare or white spots. My photos look like postcards. I guess my only compliants are that its slow snapping pictures at a fast rate. Moving shots are blurred sometimes but I heard this is a common compliant of digitals. I do a lot of graphic art and this camera is perfect for it.
