It seemed a rather odd choice for Canon to exclude the RAW format from its G7 advanced camera, and the public let them know they wanted it back. Well, with the Powershot G9, Canon has obliged, and reintroduced the uncompressed format. The G9 also features a wonderful 3.0-inch screen, 6x optical zoom, and 12.1 megapixel sensor, placing it firmly in the upper echelon of today's digital cameras.
