eh.......
( - 9/21/05)2 weeks ago I read all these great reviews and the S1 IS sounded like the camera I had been looking for. I took a bunch of pictures with it and I am NOT impressed. I was really excited about the image stabilization, but at full zoom both my hands and my subject had to be perfectly still after the camera focused in order to get a good picture. It's also quite slow to focus too. Frankly, it seems like a OK camera, but not any better than most of the other cameras out there, and not what I was looking for. Disappointing - I am returning the camera.
