Tranfering the Compact Flash Memory Card to my PC

I im Wondering how or where to go to download and transfer my photos from my memory card. I lost my A/V out cord, But I still have my PCMCIA Adapter. I Have a Dell Inspiron and im not sure what to do to retrieve the photos.

Have you tried a USB card reader? A card reader is about $10-20 and will cause your sd card to be read as a drive on the PC. Then it's a simple drag and drop.

I agree with using a USB card reader rather than the USB cord. And be sure to download Picasa2 for free from Google for keeping all your pics organized plus lots of fun tools to help your pics look their best. Just Google "Picasa" and download the correct version for your operating system (OS). You can be all fixed up for $10-20. Just be certain to get a card reader that your memory card will fit -- i.e. SD or Compact Flash.
