Canon SD 880 IS takes great pictures. But when I transfer them to the computer or Snapsifh, some pictures show discoloration and lines on them.

All the images look fine when viewed in the camera itself. Onced transfered, about 20% of them have color bands across the entire length of the image. I have tried using different SD cards, connecting the camera directly to the USB port and different computers. Same result.

Could be a bad driver. That's the problem, wonky drivers poorly written. Try using a USB card reader. It's much easier than trying to sort out crappy drivers and bloated sofware. A card reader is about $10-20 and will cause your sd card to be read as a drive on the PC. Then it's a simple drag and drop. If you still have the issues, then you've confirmed that it's a camera problem and the camera needs replacing.
