It could be a dead pixel. It can happen. Your best bet is to send it in for a repair estimate. If you haven't had your warranty expired, it may be covered. If it has, check with your credit card company to see if they offer an additional year of warranty coverage as a perk. But if not, it may still be worth getting it looked at for an estimate. At least you'll know ...
