Not too bad for a first time digital owner

This camera is not too bad all around. The shutter mechanism is a bit slow in response and as a result, I do miss that "candid" moment quite often. I am used to the fast reflex of a Nikon SLR manual. Yes, red-eye, but you can set the camera up to reduce it and if you have iPhoto or Photoshop, you can remove any red-eye completely. Next camera will have a micro setting to get the blooms and bugs close up. The battery charge is short from the get go. When it recharges faster, is the signal to get a replacement battery.
