Canon PowerShot S500 Details

Editors' Comments

The Canon PowerShot S500 is the first of the Digital Elph cameras to offer 5-megapixel resolution. Announced at the 2004 Photo Marketing Association show in Las Vegas, the Canon 500 is one of seven new PowerShot cameras announced by Canon in early February. While the S500 offers higher resolution than the other Elph cameras, it features the same compact body, creating an outstanding combination of power and size.
