The closest to adjusting the shutter speed I have been able to get is by going into the Rec. Menu and choosing the night shooting mode. Then using the arrow buttons to select and then press the menu button to return to the shooting screen. Use the arrow buttons to choose an exposure setting. The lower the value the darker the image, the heigher the value the lighter the image. Ie: Lighter image equals slower shutter speed and darker image equals shorter shutter speed. Hope this helps.
