Great Camera

( - 10/24/05)

I have had this camera for a year now. I still am as happy with it as I was when I first bought it. First of all - it is very easy to use. This was my first digital camera and I had NO problems what so ever. The pictures are incredibly vivid in color. When I show my pictures to people, the first thing they ask is what kind of camera I have and they comment on the perfect quality of the pictures. The camera isn't as small as some of them out there, but small enough for me to toss in my purse on the way out the door. I do not have a case for it and I have never had a problem with it scratching, even when it is in my purse all day with all my other items. It does have a movie mode, but I have only used that once. It is pretty neat if you want to catch something and you don't have your camcorder on hand. The zoom on this camera works beautifully. After you take the picture and you view it, you can zoom in and keep zooming in to catch the tiniest details of someones face and it doesn't get blurry.
It does come with a tiny Compact Flash Card. I bought a large one when I purchased the camera because the one it comes with only holds a handful of pictures. The battery pack charges quickly and easily - it just plugs into an outlet.
I have since received a new Sony digital camera as a gift about 6 months ago, but I still continue to use my Canon.
