Hi Abdallah,
When you say the camera does not respond at all, do you mean it in an absolute sense? Does the screen show any activity? Are there any LED lights flashing?
Have you tried new batteries?
If nothing seems to revive it, it's probably just dead. Unfortunately, given how old this model is, you're probably out of the warranty period (unless you purchased an extended warranty) and you'll have to face the decision of either returning the camera to a Canon repair center and paying a sizeable bill, or putting the money you would spend on the repair toward a newer, better model.
