my memory card is giving me problems

I took pics on my vacation and when I came home to download them the memory card showed "no images" and when I try to take more pics it states "memory card full". In the setup I can see that my memory card is not full but I can't get access to my vacation pics! I tried placing the memory card in my laptop but the computer doesn't recognize the disc! HELP! I don't want to loose my vacation pics!

Go to this site and download the Recover My Photo software.
Follow the instructions given on the page and you will get your pictures back.

Just a gentle reminder, do not remove the card when the computer is reading it.

I have actually already downloaded the PCinspector and it seems to be recovering my photos but it is taking forever (it has recovered 35 pictures in 10 hours). Is this pace normal? Should I stop the downloading process and try the program you suggested?

I have used PC Inspector before. Because it is free, I don't mind leaving the computer running overnight and wake up next morning to save the recovered files.
If time is not a constraint, since you have already started , might as well finish it, although I believe by this time, you probably have recovered all the pictures.

It is not often you come across such problem and when you do, there is a way out as you have also found out yourself.
Just remember that if you want to re-use the card again, use a ' memory card wiper ' to wipe it first before re-formatting. For the matter, a ' demo ' version card wiper will do the job very well.

Bukit97,
I ended up purchasing the program you suggested cause after downloading the pics with PCInspector, they all turned out truncated!
Recover my photo retreived my pics within a few hours and they turned out great.
Thanks for the advise!
