I used to be able to upload my vidoes from mu camera to my computer but now I cannot. Anybody have a solution to this problem I have windows xp btw

I have windows xp and i own a canon powershot sd 1000 7.1 mp

Usually a driver issue. Right click on my computer and go down to properties. Then select hardware tab. Then device manager. Check under USB (universal serial bus) and see if any of the USB drivers aren't functioning (look for an exclaimation mark in yellow). Remove it and reboot. XP will reacquire and reinstall the driver. You may need to supply it from the Canon website. You should get the latest drivers anyway.

Then again, why bother. A $20 USB Memory card reader will make the card show up as a drive on the computer. From there, it's a simple drag and drop.
