Most expensive ornament in the house!!!

( - 6/19/06)

Like many other who have posted reviews (Canon SD300)my initial experience was fantastic. We all know it's a great camera with it's specs etc... But I can't get over the fact that I dropped a dime on the camera and all the gadgets and accessories that come with it and the screen broke after about 5 months. I took it back to the chain where I bought it and was told it would cost me too much to fix it. I did read a post about buying a new LCD screen to install yourself. Sounds good but for the money I spent on this thing it should bake me cookies every day and be trained to fetch beer. Now it sits on the shelf in it's fancy leather case mocking me every time I look at it. Disappointed!
