To upload pictures to a Web page, the common file size is 640x480 pixels.
If you really want to show your picture in the original size, you may have to provide a URL that links the smaller picture to the larger picture. You probably have encountered pages that tells you to "click the picture to enlarge ".
But let's come back to your question and talk about how to resize your picture so that you can upload it to a web page.
Run Irfanview, download one if you don't have, and open your picture.
In the Menu Bar at the top of the screen, click " Image ", and in the drop down list, " select resize ".
In the new window that appears, select 640x480.
save the picture in it's new size and you are ready to post it on the web site.
