Best quality picture in ultra compact camera?

I'm looking for an ultra compact digital camera that will give the best quality picture, has a big, bright LCD screen and also an optical viewfinder. I currently have a Canon S410 which I am looking to replace. The LCD screen is too small and dim in bright daylight.

The Powershot SD450 has an optical viewfinder and good picture quality; not sure about the LCD in sunlight, but I do know that it's rather fragile so you would want to consider a screen protector if you're at all rough on cameras.

Also consider the Casio Exilim EX-Z750.
