Canon covered the replacement of the LCD
( - 9/12/05)Even though my first letter from the Canon repair center said a damaged LCD screen was not covered under warranty (repair would run me $150 plus shipping) my letter of explaining and complaining crossed in the mail with their second letter letting me know they were going to repair it under warranty! Cheers to Canon on standing behind their product in this case!
