Professional Reviews of the Canon SD500

  • 3.6 out of 5
Very well designed (CNET - 10/7/05)

CNET finds the PowerShot SD500 to have the best start up time in its class and quick shot to shot performance. It's a well designed 7 megapixel camera that lacks advanced controls. read original review

Fast, easy to use and capable of producing first-class results in the right situations (Digital Photography Review - 4/18/05)

If you're printing at sizes 8 x 10 and below the Canon PowerShot SD500 makes an excellent ultra compact camera. Though the default autofocus mode can be "erratic" this can be overcome by changing focus setting. read original review
