how do i "unlock card?"

Check your memory card. If it is a SanDisk there may be a small white tab on the side of the card itself that can be slid down into the Unlock position. Slide it and put it back into the camera and it should work.

If the card doesn't have a tab, then you have probably somehow locked/ protected your images through one of the camera's menus. Let us know if you can't find it.

Tried tab on side still locked. How do I unlock it through camereas menu when it won't let me select the protected option on camera?

How do i erase the images off my memory card if i already had protected them, It just keeps on saying memory card protected and does not allow me to select unlock ?
