downloading movies

How do you download movies onto your computer? When I use the USB cable, it only downloads the pics I took but won't recognize the movies. I need to know how to get the movies onto the computer so I can erase the card and start over with the pics and movies saved on my computer.

Darren,

Does it download the movies to an unrecognizeable format? You might need to download quicktime for the movies to work. Let me know if that works.

I've gotten to the point where I simply recommend purchasing a USB memory card reader. Your PC will acquire the card as a separate drive that you can access and then it's a simple drag and drop onto your PC.

A much better way to go than doing it through the camera.
