The time and date on my sd550 is not holding? any clue why? trouble shooting help please

I have a sd550 the its not holding the time and date. Everytime i turn it on and off I have to reset?? any clue why?

When this happens, it probably means the lithium ion battery needs to be changed.
This battery is required to maintain the date and time, including other settings of the camera. When it is low, as you have found out, you need to reset the Date and Time every time you switch on the camera.
