What is an Error code 28 and can it be fixed

I dropped the camera. The lens comes out and then goes right back in. Will not stay out.

It is an error 24 code

Since you've dropped it, chances are your lens is off track. You're probably looking at a service call for it. Recommend requesting an estimate and if the cost is north of 50% what you paid for it, simply buy a new one.

Thank you for your reply. It sounds like that may be the problem. I sent it back to the company and will request an estimate if it isn't covered by the warranty. Thanks for your good advice.
