Want something that clicks good pictures at night

I want an overall good camera but want something that would click good pics at night... I was looking at Sony Wx1 or TX1.. how good is this with night?

The thing is, point and shoot cameras don't have very fast lenses and when it's low light, the lens opens up all the way and the camera then boosts the ISO and slows down the shutter speed to make up the difference. And if you use a flash, you can really only get ilumination w/in about 10 feet. Outside of that, and you end up with underexposed, noisy images with camera shake. So, your best bet, if night shots are your thing, is to get a DSLR with a fast lens.

And SONY? Well, they're not all that great in low light. Check out Panasonic Lumix and Canon's SD900 line.
