good pictures while moving and without flash????

i'm just about sold on this camera, just wondering about 2 things. 1- does this camera have the pet/kids setting? i want to know if it will take pictures of things that are moving. i will have a new born soon so im hoping this camera will be able to take good pictures of her since im pretty sure she won't be posing any time soon. 2- does this camera take good pictures without the flash? or, for example, if i wanted to take pictures of a house at night that was decorated with lights.

thanks so much for your help and time!!!!

I'm don't think it has a pet setting but, it does have a portrait setting you can use for adults/kids. This camera can take pictures up to ISO 1600, which is quite fast. This means you should be able to get shots in low light and of moving kids. If you want to reduce grain, add more light or use the flash, just as long as you stay within the flash range. It also features optical image stabilization and Canon's "Motion Detection Technology" to reduce blur. As for the last request, this camera should be able to do it. For the best shot, use a tripod and select a twilight/night setting. Overall, this camera should satisfy your needs.

It does have a kids pet setting you have to turn the dial to get it when you switch the button in the middle I've used it before and I own this camera and Yes this camera has great Picture Qualities Even at Night it's fantastic as long as you know how to use it, I recommend that you get familiar with your camera and read your manual.
