The specifications, as shown in this report , indicate that the camera accepts SDHC cards which can be anything from 2 gig to 16 gig or higher.

One these cards, even the 2 gig ones, will let you take hundreds, if not thousands of pictures before it is full.
If you need to erase pictures a lot just to take more pictures, you probably depends on the built in card to store your pictures.

Try switching over to the 2 gig card or 4 gig card and your problem will be over.

Another thought... Carry a second SDHC card (along with spare batteries). They aren't that much considering the one time cost for a second card. Some pictures I initially thought of as trash (when viewing through the camera LCD screen) were actually good pictures after a little photo editing on my computer. When the card in the camera is full, switch out with the backup card. Once you've copied the photos from the first card onto your computer, use that card as the backup. Remember that you'll need to reformat that card when putting it back in the camera, and you're good to go!

You need a Memory Card with more Space that's why you have to keep deleting. I Own this camera and when I ordered it, I ordered a 4 GB SDHC Memory with it for US$3.99 on Amazon.com I suggest you get one It can take up to 4643 file including Videos.
