(Phillip - 11/25/07)Purchased as a replacement for an S400. Amazing improvement. Wide angle lens is the best feature. There are brighter/bigger LCD screens out there but the SD800 retains an optical viewfinder. The replacement SD870 has a bigger LCD but the viewfinder has gone. Only complaint is the curved aspect to the front of the body which tends to get easily scratched. If there is a setting to preview what will get cropped when printing I haven't found it.
