Please help me decide: Canon Powershot SD850, SD880, SD1200, or Nikon Coolpix S230?

I am trying to decide between these cameras. I have a nice SLR, however need something for more everyday use. I am also going to Europe for 5 months, so I need to be able to get quality pics when I won't want to take my SLR. Most important things to me are size, optical zoom, and quality of pictures. I'd like to be able to zoom in/out during movie mode and often take pictures of moving objects. Can anyone help me decide?

For the Canons, first thing I would do is go to the any of the Canon model sites at canonusa.com. In the upper right hand corner you'll see a button for "choose the right product." Then, click on "product comparison." A pop-up window will let you compare up to three cameras for features. This will give you a chance to compare them side by side to see the differences, and more importantly, the similarities. The SD880 has an advantage in that it uses the new DIGIC IV processor which will give you sharper images than the previous model. IIRC, it's larger too which means it can give the megapixels more room and as such, they're more sensitive in low light.

Next, check out this resource. It takes pictures with each and you can compare them side by side. Zooming in and out during video taping though will eliminate the SD850 and the 1200, IIRC. Not sure about the S230 for that feature though.
