Absolutely. Even though Canon says that OS X version 10.5 is not supported by Canon software and that updated versions are in development, there's no better software than iPhoto for what you need.

Thanks, I noticed the Canon website indicated it was not yet compatible, but in other places there were indications it was. I am glad to hear someone has had actual success with it.

Well, it doesn't really matter if you use a USB Memory card reader. Place your memory card into it. Then all you need to do is insert the SD card (your MAC will recognize it as another drive), and then simply drag and drop.

Sorry, but my Mac doesn't recognize the Canon SD950 SI as USB device (Mac OS X 10.5.6). What a pain. Yet another thing I have to go back to using a PC for...
