blown away
(Al - 5/7/09)Just started looking at some images taken on my new SD990.
I was actually blown away. I always do post processing in PS-CS3. I was surprised how little I had to do with contrast, tone, sharpness, etc. Using the live histogram is a plus in getting good shots off of the SD card.
With 14+ megapixels I was more than pleased when zooming in on photos taken at the highest resolution. Once zoomed in, one could pan around and get good "macro" looking shots. Could never do that before with acceptable results with my other point and shoot cameras. Exceedingly pleased with the SD990 so far.
