Small.. and Powerful. Great camera!
(Ben - 5/10/09)I just picked up the SD990 IS and it's the perfect camera for me. I previously owned the SD870 and I wanted something similar if not better. The 990 is fully manual and that is something my former camera lacked. I like having the option to be lazy and just point and shoot, as well as having the ability to control it like an SLR with out the bulk. It would be nice to have more F/stops, minor details though. Highly recommend this camera, you will not be disappointed. Unless, of course, if you want the camera to do all the work so you don't have to... which it does that too.
