Referencing Canon SX110 IS has anyone tried downloading to Windows Vista yet?

Read there were problems with the Canon Power Shot's not being compatable with Windows. Any word on the SX110? Thinking about purchasing the SX110 as a Christmas Gift.

According to Canon, the SX110's software is compatible with Vista.

I have bought a Canon SX110 IS camera. And I haven't been able to download anything on my Vista computer. The Zoombrowser is also not able to identify the camera.

So every time I need to get the images, I go to my old Windows XP machine and download the images there.

This is really annoying as my laptop uses Vista and I like to be able to download the images when on the move...

Why don't you just remove the sd memory chip from the camera and insert it in your computer.
If your computer comes with Vista im quite sure it has the right slut.

+downloading your picture will be way faster and no need to install shitty software.
