Hi James

Hi buddy. Hope everything’s fine with u. As advised by u, I have tried to study both Canon XSi and Nikon D90. Both seem hi-tech electronic wonder toys. I'm studying them and will continue to do so. At the end of the day, I need crystal clear sharp pictures with actual colors for my indoor official functions like meetings/conferences/workshops and also outdoor official family days. Noise free high ISO and occasional telephoto option for say upto 15x are also desirable. To me, an all purpose Nikkor 18-200 mm VR lens with D90 seems exciting. In this regard, may I request ur kind suggestion again? Thank you.

I think that's a very good choice. Although I'm traditionally a Canon man, there's no competing with the 50 years of lenses you can still use on that D90. That alone puts it ahead of the XSi, which is an outstanding camera. So yeah, I'd go for it. And don't forget a 1A skylight filter for the lens. It'll protect your lenses against impact and scratches.
