Deciding betwenn Canon Powershot SX200IS or Canon SD1200 IS

I currently have the Powershot SD850IS & I've been generally happy w/ it. However it's been dropped a few times, so I'm looking to replace it. I think I've narrowed down my choices to the SX200IS or the SD1200IS or SD980IS. The appeal is the optical zoon on the SX200IS. MG is not an issue since I don't do any large printing.

I've done the comparison on the Canon site, but am still confused which camera is a better fit. I take a lot of pictures of my children, both indoors & outside.

Any help is appreciated.

Well, you could check out this resource. It takes pictures with each and you can compare them side by side.

But I'm of the mind that the SX200 is your best bet.

Yes, I've gone to that site too! I've pretty much decided on the sx200. I decided against the SD1200 b/c of the lower zoom (only 3x). Now I'm crossing off the SD980 (5x optical zoom). For just a bit more $$, I should go w/ the SX200. Do you agree?
