Two thumbs up for the Canon Digital Rebel XT/350D. Image quality is excellent, and the camera offers a very impressive range of controls. On the downside, the lens that is included with the standard kit offers less-than-impressive results. This reviewer recommends purchasing the body-only option and buying a good quality lens. read original review

Though not devoid of complaints (including an overly-small body and a tight viewfinder) this pro reviewer is very enthusiastic about the Canon 350D. Photo quality is comparable to the Canon 20D, and the 350D's price makes it potentially the best value on the market as of March, 2005. read original review

This reviewer delivers a very positive assessment of the Canon Digital Rebel XT, which makes a great camera for the family photographer looking for faster response times that point & shoot cameras can provide. The only potential drawback is the 350D's size - because it has such a small body, photographers with small hands may find it difficult to grip and operate. read original review
