I thought I took pictures but seems I was on video mode... can I convert to pictures? I don't want to loose them

Each video is a shot... I don't understand as I also took 60 frame shots... really need the photos so hope I can transform them into pics form video mode...

Well, you can get a screen grab of the video image, but it'll only be half the information. Video is "interlaced," meaning that at any given frame you get every other line of resolution. So, in order to get all the information, you'll have to deinterlace the frame. There are programs that can do this (DScaler may be one), but the results aren't ideal. You won't get the resolution of a still image, but it's better than nothing.
