how do you download the pictures from the camera if you do not have the CD

i do not have the CD i only have the wire the connects to the computer.

most newer pc can identify the cam without the software ( windows xp) you can also go to my computer look under the list of drives and see if the photo device is connected and right click on it this should allow you acesses to the pics or you can also look for the cameras drivers on sites like drivers.com you could try contacting the cams manufacturer most of there sights have the drivers and software for free download
