is this camera being recalled

I own a fuji finepix 3800 and the screen is not working any longer. I am trying to find out if it is being recalled.

Searched but couldn't find any info on one, so I'm assuming not... I'd definitely give Fuji a call to make sure, or to find service to fix yours either way.

This just happened to me too. I hear its the ccd. I am looking for info as well.

I have heard of the CCD problem and I'm not sure but I don't think it causes the screen to stop working- at least not totally. Here is the news item on that and what it does. The camera mentioned in the original question is not affected.

I have a Sony DSC-U30 my screen has stop working. I would like to contact Sony about a recall on this camera but I do not Know how. If someone knows how with a number or some other way please email me akrddestanie@yahoo.com thank you.
